A mother's love transcends the species. We spent only one day in Gibraltar, but I was so taken with the place that I will be getting several posts out of our visit. This is one is a little tease of what is yet to come, and I didn't want it to get buried in a post about the monkeys of Gibraltar...it is just too sweet! I don't remember taking this particular shot. I was just trying to get as many of the monkeys as I could and was so pleasantly surprised when I found this one while I was going through all my shots. Please feel free to share this link with as many people as you like and I can't wait to share more about our day on the "Rock!"
oh, I can't wait. I've always been interested in the rock of G . Linda
ReplyDeleteThese monkeys run wild on Gibraltar? My kids would love that! The monkeys in my post are Rhesus monkeys. I wonder if yours are too. Such cheeky little guys :) I recently learned the word 'gibberish' originates from Gibraltar with their mix of languages. I've always wanted to visit :) XOL
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo! I'd love to visit Gibraltar one day.
ReplyDelete@ Linda: I hope you've enjoyed the follow-up posts about the monkeys.
ReplyDelete@Happy Homemaker UK: Yes, they run wild and occasionally turn up in town (the adolescent ones, go fifure! Ha!) I looked up the Gib monkeys, and though they look the same, they must be different because they are called Barbary Macaques monkeys. Ha! Gibberish...love it!
